Timeless truths about plans. How do we know the will of God and plan accordingly? The Apostle Paul wanted to visit Rome and visit the church there. It was one of the main desires of his life. He wrote “Now I want you to know, brothers, that I often planned to come to you (but was prevented until now ) in order that I might have a fruitful ministry among you, just as among the rest of the Gentiles.” Romans 1:13 HCSB
Some plans just don’t work out the way we thought. Paul ended up visiting the church in Rome as a prisoner. That part was not in his plan. Some things we plan to do but they take a very different turn.
Surrender your plans to God. He wants us to plan but our plans must be written in pencil. Our plans may be made with much prayer and counsel and be in the will of God. However, the timing, how the plan is fulfilled, and changes all are to be surrendered to the Lord.
