Timeless truths from Philippians 4:9.
What have you learned? What has your heart received? What have you heard? Who have you seen flesh these things out? Practice them!
Paul taught verbally and visibly. He practiced what he taught. When he wrote most of the New Testament, it was not doctrine to be learned but truths to be practiced. That is why he said to the church of Philippi, “practice these things.”
What can you expect when you learn, receive, hear, watch and then practice the truth? Peace! The peace of God will be with you. Go out today and practice the truth. Our problem is not a learning issue! Our problem is living the truth out in practical application.
“The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:9 NASB
