Maturity

Timeless truths from Philippians 3:15-16.

Maturity and attitude go hand in hand. Your maturity is revealed by your attitude. Your attitude reflects your maturity. When Paul says, “perfect” in verse 15, he is referring to maturity.

The challenge is this: keep on living by the grace of God and for the glory of God regardless of how many have a different attitude. Your maturity is often marked by what it takes to discourage you from doing what is right. We must press on and not lower our standard even though others forsake, give up, or lower their standard.

“Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.” Philippians‬ ‭3:15-16‬ ‭NASB‬‬
